Guild workshops take place in the Sacred Heart Clubhouse; follow the lane past the gymnasium where our meetings are held – the Clubhouse is at the end of the lane on the right. Workshops begin at 10 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.. The doors will be open by 9:30 a.m. to enable everyone to set up and be ready to go by 10. Bring a lunch and a mug, and an extension cord! Coffee and tea are provided. We thank you for helping to set-up in the morning, and to dismantle and vacuum the classroom at the end of the day.

Workshop Payment and Cancellation Policy

As the guild contracts with out of town teachers months in advance for the workshops and there is a cost involved, following is the policy dealing with payment and cancellations of workshop participation.

1.  In order to reserve a space in a workshop the Guild requires payment in full upon signup to secure your spot n the workshop.

2.  If there is material cost associated with the workshop payment is due on the day of the workshop.

3.  If the workshop applicant gives notification of cancellation at least 4 weeks prior to the workshop 100% of the fee will be refunded.

4.  If  a workshop applicant gives notice 13 days to 0 days prior to the workshop there will be no refund unless they find a replacement to take his/her space.  Priority must be given to members on the waiting list.  If no replacement is found there will be no refund.

April 18th - Fibre Artist Heidi Lund from Bremerton, WA will teach “Freeform Machine Threadplay”.

May 4th - Road Trip to Victoria Quilt Guild Quilt Show

June 16th (date to be confirmed) Mile a minute workshop with Stella Macdonald at the clubhouse. Bring your scraps and sew a mile a minute.
